| Fact of the Month: Are Executives Spending Their Time the Right Way? |
A McKinsey Institute online survey of nearly 1,500 executives showed that:
- A meager 52% of respondents said the way they spent their time largely matched their organizations’ strategic priorities.
- Nearly half admitted they were not concentrating sufficiently on guiding the strategic direction of the business.
- Just 9% of respondents deemed themselves “very satisfied” with the way they currently spend their time, and about one-third were “actively dissatisfied.”
