Fact of the Month: Are Executives Spending Their Time the Right Way?
A McKinsey Institute online survey of nearly 1,500 executives showed that:
  1. A meager 52% of respondents said the way they spent their time largely matched their organizations’ strategic priorities.
  2. Nearly half admitted they were not concentrating sufficiently on guiding the strategic direction of the business.
  3. Just 9% of respondents deemed themselves “very satisfied” with the way they currently spend their time, and about one-third were “actively dissatisfied.”
