Interview Tip of the Month:
What to Wear for a Summer Job Interview
It's HOTTTTT – but flip flops and crop tops are still job-interview DONT'S. Whether you're interviewing virtually or IRL, you still need to dress appropriately for your job interview. Here are a few tips for keeping your cool:
- Keep a small cloth or towel handy to blot your face and use it before you head into the building or turn your webcam on. Be sure it's stashed out of sight during your interview.
- Opt for natural fibers. Synthetics don't breathe as well.
- If you perspire a lot, wear a lightweight, moisture-wicking layer under your shirt or blouse to prevent, well, you know...
- Practice! Being adequately prepared will keep you out of the interview "hot seat."
